
Not over yet, but I'm just now sitting down after a good house scrubbing. Well, apartment. And not the whole apartment, just the hallway/living room/bedroom. Now I've locked the cat out of my bedroom so I can let in soe fresh air, but the fresh air is so cold!
So, you know what super helps to lose weight? Not eating. ;) Well, obviously, but also eating the right stuff. I wasn't going to have lunch today, since I'm going out to dinner with dad, but I figured some apples and carrots couldn't hurt, could they? And a salmon dinner after a day of slowing down my metobolism could. So... apples and carrots!
Also, I've fallen in love with vitamins. Here's why; I'm not tired anymore. Seriously, wide awake. And I really think it's the vitamins, which are ALSO boosting my metobolism. I'm probably healthier at this moment than I've been for ten years. Weird, right? And I love cheese, but I hated eating it, because of how bad it is. BUT it also contains tons of protien, which boosts metabolism as well. :) Not that cheese is suddenly a miracle food, or I can eat as much as I want, but I feel a little less guilty about my indulgence.
By the by, you know what I found out? Part of why guys lose weight so much faster than girls is because of how we handle stress. Girls, when stressed, will sleep, eat sweet foods, and than feel so guilty we binge for the rest of the day. Guys, when stressed, will exercise, eat protien foods (steaks, cheese etc), and then feel really good about the snack and go on about their day.
Gee, I wonder which is healthier?
I've always been a little weird as far as being a girl goes, and sometimes I think maybe I should've been born a guy, and when I'm upset, I also go for protien. But then I follow the girl's reaction to a T. *sigh*
But knowing the problem is the first step to solving it right? What about you - how do you handle failure/stress?
