Happy New Year!
I'm so excited for this new year! Not because everything is suddenly going to change and become magically alright, but because I'm more determined than ever to at least stick with this weight loss thing. I'm also excited because holiday season is over and I haven't gained anything! WOOHOO! No losses either, but I'm trying not to be too bummed about that.
So, major resolutions:
By February (when I go back to see all my friends): 203
By April: 194
By June: 190
By August: 180
Alright, it's not really over-ambitious, which makes me hope I'll make it. 29 pounds in eight months, that's less than four pounds a month. So I should be able to do it, and of course if I can lose more, I will. I'm giving myself rewards for every few pounds I lose - and NONE of the rewards have anything to do with food. I'm trying to learn a new rewards system. OTHER RESOLUTIONS:
Rediscover my love for poetry
Write non-poetry more often
Read more classic literature to prepare for college
Read my Bible daily and have some me and God time.
Read more C.S. Lewis, cause he's awesome. :D
Learn to keep a clean room
Drink more water
Wear fashionable clothes even at home (I always switch to t-shirt and jeans the minute I walk in the door)
Learn to sing with my own unique voice
Practice piano more.
Run the stairs at least four times a week.
WOW, ambitious. But we'll see. I'll tell you how it goes!! Love you all!
Stats: Weight: STILL 209
